FASHION, Like Music and Art is Good for the SOUL.

I believe as people of the 21st century it is (in most parts of the world) our privilege to dress up as we like.

Having the opportunity to express ourselves through what we wear, liberating our souls by showing our strength and vulnerability to the world through the choices we make in fashion is empowerment in its purest art form.

The Golden Age of COUTURE

In 1947 Christian Dior launched his "New Look" and with it the most remarkable and glamorous decade in fashion history. This "golden age" celebrated the end of the war and the birth of a new era.

The Golden Age of Couture is a stunning exhibition featuring work by Parisian couturiers such as Christian Dior, Cristobal Balenciaga, Pierre Balmain and Hubert de Givenchy together with their London counterparts Norman Hartnell and Hardy Amies.

The exhibition looks at the secret world of couture, the structure of fashion's grand houses, the skills and craftsmanship of the ateliers and the lifestyle of its chic clientele.

Illustrated with fabulous period gowns and photographs, it shows the process and inspiration behind some of the most glamorous styles of all time.

Sex And The City- Back in the Agenda

The long awaited movie is finally under filming. Just in time, as I've just finished watching the complete series from one to sex. To remind your self of "A Woman's Rights To Shoes" find your favourite pair of Manolo Blahnik. And to view some of the extraordinary Colourful Carrie-like dresses visit John Galliano at Christian Dior.
